TRUST OR THRUST

Trust is truly to rest in the Lord for He is truth.

These are the benefits of resting in the Lord:

Strength

Healing

Restoration

Renovation

Security

Comfort

Peace

Confidence

Mathew 12:8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

Mark 2:27 Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

For in the Lord is our rest.

When you don't rest then you start to rust "spiritually".

What is rust?

Rust is a reddish- or yellowish-brown flaky coating of iron oxide that is formed on iron or steel by oxidation, especially in the presence of moisture.

Rust can be prevented by Oils and grease coating which cuts off moist air.

So, spiritually talking the oil symbolizes "anointing".

And you can only receive it when you rest in the Lord 🙏💖.

TRUST is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

THRUST means to push (something or someone) suddenly or violently in the specified direction.

Trust is confidence, it means to rest in the Lord and his promises.

When you rest you are in peace.

You are in peace because you know that who promised you is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

So, even though you have not seen what you are waiting for, you believe that you already have it through faith, because you believe in the Lord.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now, you already have the promise but, you have to be patient and wait for the production of that which was promised to you.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

The wait can make you desperate, and anxious and if you do not know how to wait, you will thrust and end up doing things on your own because of your impatience, it's better to wait because the best things in life come through times waiting.

How do we wait?

We wait in prayer and petition knowing that God will answer.

During that time we need to prepare ourselves as he prepares what we have asked for.

Not because God cannot give us things today or now but because the best things come with time and preparation.

Let's take for instance a woman who is pregnant she already has a baby in her womb she is expecting that beautiful promise but she can't see it until after she's giving birth.

Another example: As we grow in life we prepare ourselves for future success.

You can't have a business or a profession unless you have studied, in other words, you need the knowledge to know how to do, what you want to do.

Even after you have studied you have to start practicing what you studied through a regular job before becoming an owner of your own business. You will need the experience and money to invest in the business you want to create in the future. Through the practice at these regular jobs, you are going to take advantage of the lessons. After you have obtained the full experience you can go and create your own business. Even creating your own business takes more time, effort, a great organized plan, and money.

After you have been through all of this process then you can say you have wisdom because you have experienced through time all these lessons that you have had through patience and dedication.

You cannot give what you do not have so how will you be able to share an experience or knowledge if you have not been through situations in life.

Through studies, college, work experiences, etc. from there with that experience we get to be filled with knowledge and wisdom, and then we can share what we have learned with others.

THRUST

When you thrust you push God away to take matters into your own hands.

When you make wrong choices then you want God to fix what you decided to DO because you did not want to wait in what he had for you.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

2 Chronicles 15:7 Be ye strong, therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

So you choose to trust or thrust the Lord.
